State Duma Expands Labor Guarantees for People with Disabilities

Quota for hiring people with disabilities will be established in all types of separate divisions. The corresponding law has been adopted by the State Duma.

As explained in the press service of the State Duma, earlier the quota regulation applied only to representative offices and branches. Now it also covers divisions, i.e., parts of a legal entity that operate at a different address according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) and have at least one employee working there for more than a month. Separate divisions can be represented by a traditional office, warehouse, meeting room, etc.

According to State Duma deputies, the law is expected to stimulate the employment of people with disabilities and their integration into social life. The document will come into force on March 1, 2026.
