Crimea Introduces Restrictions on Electricity and Water Supply

Crimea has imposed temporary restrictions on electricity and water supply following a major power grid failure outside the region, according to Crimean leader Sergey Aksyonov.

According to Aksyonov, the outage was caused by drone attacks. Specialized services are currently working on-site and taking measures to restore normal operation of the energy system.

Schedules for temporary power and water disruptions are expected to be published on official information resources of relevant government agencies and local administrations.

Aksyonov urged Crimean residents to remain calm and obtain information about the situation only from official sources.

Similar restrictions were previously introduced in Sevastopol.
