Russia will lift export restrictions on diesel fuel earlier than planned, according to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak in a statement to TASS.

Novak emphasized that Russia remains a major supplier of diesel globally. Therefore, the Russian side has decided to immediately begin lifting export restrictions without waiting for the previously set date.

"Russia, being one of the key suppliers of diesel to the global market, will also immediately start lifting diesel export restrictions earlier than the planned schedule," Novak said.
