Sevastopol continues to work on restoring power supply after a strike on energy infrastructure outside the region. The exact timelines for returning electricity to homes have not yet been determined, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported.
He noted that energy facilities have been placed on a special operational mode, and social institutions have been switched to backup power supply systems. Specialists are taking necessary measures to restore electricity supply.
Razvozhaev urged residents to rely only on official statements, emphasizing the importance of verifying information amid the unstable situation.
Due to power outages, approximately 40% of mobile communication base stations in the city are currently operational.
Electricity restrictions have also affected the water supply system. In response, water delivery has been organized for residents in Leninsky district of Sevastopol.
Due to the unstable power supply situation, trolleybus service in Sevastopol has been temporarily suspended.
Razvozhaev stated that the latest information on the situation in the city and the work of relevant government agencies is being collected in the official account of the Sevastopol government.
He called on citizens to remain calm and follow updates from authorized authorities.
