Pyotrol stations in Karelia lift all restrictions from October 24

Fuel restrictions have been completely lifted in the Republic of Karelia, allowing motorists to refuel without limits and purchase gasoline and other types of fuel in containers and other storage tanks, announced regional leader Arthur Parfenchikov.

Effective October 24, the decision was made possible due to stabilization of fuel supply both in the republic and nationwide, according to the governor.

The issue was resolved in collaboration with the regional fuel task force and fuel suppliers. Coordination of their efforts resulted in positive trends and enabled the removal of previously imposed restrictions.

Parfenchikov noted that the fuel task force established in the region will continue its work despite the lifting of fuel limits.
