### Massive Drone Attack Strikes Southern Russia, Leaving Four Dead and Infrastructure Damaged A massive drone attack struck the Krasnodar region of southern Russia overnight from September 8 to 9, with the main assault targeting the city of Novorossiysk, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev. Kondratyev reported that four people, including a child, were killed in the attack, while 29 others were injured. Three of the injured are in critical condition. In Novorossiysk, residential infrastructure was damaged, including three private homes, five apartment buildings, an Orthodox church, and a kindergarten. Rescue teams, emergency services, and other specialists are still working at the sites to address the aftermath of the attack. Kondratyev instructed Novorossiysk mayor Andrey Kravchenko to personally oversee the situation, quickly assess the damage, and provide necessary assistance to affected families. The attack also had consequences in Anapa, where debris from a drone damaged three private homes and a kindergarten. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties in this city. Efforts to address the aftermath are ongoing in the Crimean and Temryuk districts as well. Kondratyev stated that he is maintaining constant communication with municipal leaders in these areas.
