### Russian Stock Market Opens Lower on Wednesday
The MOEX Russia Index (formerly known as MICEX Index) opened lower on Wednesday, declining by 0.2% to trade at 2,680 basis points.

The MOEX Russia Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of free-float shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and fast-growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated using prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account the free-float of the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
