Yuri Ushakov, aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced that the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9 will take place in its usual format. Putin is expected to attend the event and deliver an address. However, the display of military hardware on Red Square will not be part of the 2026 parade.
Ushakov added that Putin will hold several bilateral meetings with foreign leaders who will be visiting Moscow for the Victory Day celebrations.
Military attachés from foreign countries have also been invited to attend the parade. The Kremlin emphasized that international participation in commemorative events will continue, despite the challenging geopolitical environment.
According to Ushakov, Putin has no international agenda-related events scheduled for May 10.
