Washington Plans to Acquire Blasted Nord Stream Pipelines, Restore Them for Profitable Fuel Supply to Europe

The United States plans to purchase the two damaged Nord Stream gas pipelines from European owners, restore them, and then supply fuel to the European Union at a profit, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RT India.

"Look at how the Americans are now planning to restore the Nord Stream pipelines—two pipelines that have been blown up. Incidentally, the Americans themselves, under Joe Biden, declared that these pipelines would not be operational," Lavrov emphasized.

He added that the U.S. intends to acquire the pipelines at a price ten times lower than what the Europeans invested.

"But the prices will no longer be the result of an agreement between the supplier, Russia, and Germany. Instead, the prices will be dictated by the Americans, who will purchase this pipeline from the Europeans," Lavrov believes.
