MICEX Index Drops 0.2% to 2690 Points on Wednesday Open

On Wednesday, at the market opening, the MOEX Index dropped by 0.2% during the trading session, trading at 2690 basis points.

The most liquid stocks showed the following trading dynamics:

- Lukoil -0.4%;

- Gazprom -0.1%;

- Sberbank +0.1%;

- Rosneft -0.1%.

It is worth noting that the MOEX Index (Moscow Exchange Index) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.

The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
