During the night of April 29, Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 98 Ukrainian drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, and Saratov regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Ukraine but annexed by Russia in 2014).
