The Russian government is continuing to consider options for modernizing the subsidized family mortgage program with a preferential interest rate of 6%. A final decision on this issue is expected to be made by July 1, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Khusnullin noted that the government has identified several options for modernizing the program and has launched a sociological survey among families to determine which option would be most preferred.
"By July 1, after receiving the results of the sociological surveys, we hope to select the option that is most acceptable," he clarified.
