### Russian Used Car Market Sees 4.6% Growth in Q1 2026 Sales of used passenger cars in Russia increased by 4.6% in the first quarter of 2026, reaching 1.3 million units, according to Autostat. In March alone, the market saw a 6% year-on-year increase and a 15.3% month-on-month growth, with 475,000 units sold. The top five brands in the used car market were Lada (111,900 units, -7.8% y/y and +16.3% m/m), Toyota (50,300 units, +15.4% y/y and +15% m/m), Kia (25,300 units, +6.4% y/y and +9.1% m/m), Hyundai (25,100 units, +7.9% y/y and +10.2% m/m), and Volkswagen (21,400 units, +24.5% y/y and +14.5% m/m). (Lada is a Russian car brand, while Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, and Volkswagen are international brands popular in Russia.)
