Russia Increases Confectionery Exports by 17%

Russia exported confectionery worth $375 million in the first quarter of 2026, up 17% in value compared to the same period last year, according to Agroexport.

Bakery products accounted for 49% of total exports, chocolate for 38%, and sugar confectionery for 13%. The largest importers of Russian confectionery were Kazakhstan (+36% year-on-year), Belarus (+43%), Uzbekistan (+21%), Azerbaijan (-4%), and Kyrgyzstan (+31%).
