### Russian Gasoline Sea Exports Drop 40% in 2025 In 2025, Russia’s seaborne gasoline exports amounted to 2.1 million tons, marking a 40% decline compared to the previous year, according to Russian business daily *Kommersant*. The main destinations for these shipments were Egypt (27% of exports) and Turkey (22%). It is noted that most of the deliveries went directly to buyers, while 28% of the total export volume was transferred to other tankers at sea and subsequently shipped to third countries. The decrease in gasoline shipments from Russian ports is attributed to the ongoing embargo on overseas deliveries, including those to refineries. It should be recalled that the Russian government extended temporary restrictions on motor fuel exports until the end of February 2026. Overall, Russia’s total oil refining output in 2025 reached 262.3 million tons, a 1.7% year-on-year decline due to unplanned shutdowns at refineries.
