The key MICEX Index (ММВБ) declined by 0.1% on Friday, trading at 2,805 points.
Liquidity stocks displayed the following trading dynamics:
- Sber (-0.7%);
- Gazprom (-1.3%);
- Magnit (-1.6%);
- Lukoil (-0.3%).
The MICEX Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market, constructed based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and incorporating the most liquid shares of large and rapidly growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the MICEX is calculated based on prices, weighted by market capitalization and free-float, of the most liquid Russian company shares.
The review was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, a member of the Listing Expert Council of the MICEX, Ph.D. in Economics, and head of the Financial and Investment Management Department at the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" of the Financial University under the Government.
