U.S. President Donald Trump expressed hope in an interview with British media for a swift resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, while simultaneously criticizing the Biden administration for its onset.

"If I were president, this would never have happened," Trump stated.

The politician directly indicated that the current situation is causing him frustration.

"I ended eight wars. And there is one left," Trump declared, referring to a possible settlement.

The American leader reminded of his good relations with Vladimir Putin. The U.S. President assumed that ending the conflict would be "a piece of cake" for him.
