Ruble adjusts within 0.7% against major currencies

The ruble is correcting within 0.7% against major currencies. On the interbank currency market, the national currency exchange rate to the Chinese yuan (CNY/RUB) is testing the level of 11.51 rubles (ask) per yuan on Friday. The "dollar-ruble" pair (USD/RUB) is trading at 83.40 rubles (ask) per US dollar, while the currency pair (EUR/RUB) is at 95.49 rubles (ask) per euro. It should be noted that since June 13, 2024, the exchange rates for the US dollar (USD/RUB) and euro (EUR/RUB) are determined based on information from bank transactions, data from digital platforms, and over-the-counter trades. As for the Chinese yuan (CNY/RUB), its rate is calculated based on transactions concluded on the Moscow Exchange. Information on conducted operations comes from several sources: - data from trading on the currency market of the Moscow Exchange; - information on transactions provided by banks; - data from digital platforms of the over-the-counter market; - if data is absent in the above-mentioned sources, the rate remains at the level of the previous day.
