By the end of the year, inflation will be at the level of 6-7%: Novak

In September, annual inflation in Russia reached 8%, while at its peak (in March of this year) it was at 10.3%. These figures were announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, an even greater decrease in the inflation rate is expected by the end of the year.

- We expect an inflation rate of 6-7% by the end of the year and, in accordance with the forecast of socio-economic development for 2026-2028, by the end of 2026 the inflation rate will be 4%, he added.
