Man, woman injured by Ukrainian drone in Belgorod region during Easter truce

Two civilians were injured in an attack by a Ukrainian drone in the Borisovsky district of the Belgorod region, according to regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The incident took place on a road section between the villages of Zozuli and Gruzskoye, where the Ukrainian drone struck near a moving vehicle.

As a result of the explosion, a man and a woman sustained injuries. The man suffered shrapnel wounds to his back, while the woman sustained multiple shrapnel injuries to her shoulder, back, and lower limbs.

The victims were promptly transported to the Borisovsky Central District Hospital, where medical staff provided them with initial care. They will be transferred to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2 for further treatment.

Authorities are gathering additional information about any other possible consequences of the incident.
