### Russia Boosts Support for Natural Gas Vehicle Infrastructure Development
The Russian government has intensified measures to support the development of natural gas vehicle (NGV) infrastructure and expanded funding for projects in this area. This includes the construction of gas refueling stations and the conversion of vehicles to run on natural gas.
Under the updated terms, the maximum subsidy amount for companies and individual entrepreneurs implementing projects to create gas refueling infrastructure has been increased from 36 million rubles to 50 million rubles. This decision aims to accelerate the development of refueling networks and increase the availability of natural gas fuel.
Additionally, the list of expenses eligible for government support has been expanded. Subsidies can now be used not only for constructing stationary facilities but also for purchasing mobile gas refueling units and equipping sites for their operation. This approach will enable vehicle refueling in remote areas where gas infrastructure is underdeveloped.
In parallel, the maximum compensation amount for individuals and organizations converting their vehicles to use natural gas has also been increased. These measures apply to passenger cars, trucks, public transport, and municipal equipment.
For individuals and small and medium-sized businesses, additional support remains in place: a multiplier is applied to the base subsidy amount, doubling the final compensation sum.
