### Russian Air Defense Intercepts 559 Ukrainian Drones Overnight Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 559 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type over the past night, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were shot down between 8:00 PM Moscow time on October 3 and 8:00 AM Moscow time on October 4. The UAVs were intercepted over the territories of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Smolensk, and Tula regions, as well as the Moscow area. Additionally, air defense systems were active over the Republic of Adygea, Crimea, and Krasnodar Krai, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
