One person has died in a fire at a chemical plant in Krasnozavodsk, Russia, with the fate of five others still unknown, according to a report by TASS citing an emergency services source.
The source confirmed that the open flames at the facility have been extinguished.
Emergency services continue to work at the scene, according to Alexei Luzhetsky, head of the Sergiyev Posad municipal district. Firefighters are currently dousing the structures inside one of the production buildings. An operational headquarters has been set up on-site.
