Serbia secures favorable gas supply deal with Russia until end of year

Russia will continue to supply gas to Serbia on preferential terms until the end of the year. The parties have extended the relevant contract, which was due to expire on September 30, according to Serbian media citing Dusan Bajatović, director of state-owned gas company "Serbijagas".

"Gazprom has extended the gas supply agreement with Serbia for another three months, until the end of the year, on the same favorable terms as before," Bajatović was quoted as saying by journalists.
