At the time of the incident, employees were reportedly preparing for dinner. Following the short circuit, the fire quickly spread to fireworks stored on the premises, causing explosions and a large-scale blaze. Two buildings were destroyed in the fire, and the bodies of five people were found under the rubble by rescue workers. The warehouse director told Mash that the facility stored fireworks imported from China, and that the employees did not directly manufacture firecrackers.
