Regions to Receive Additional Funding for Agricultural Sector Losses Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

The Russian government will provide additional financial support to regions to compensate for the losses incurred by local agricultural producers due to adverse weather conditions. Over 670 million rubles will be allocated for this purpose.

The funds will be distributed among 21 regions that have reported additional needs for 2026: Astrakhan, Bryansk, Vladimir, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Kirov, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Smolensk, Rostov, and Tomsk Oblasts, Karelia, Crimea, Mari El, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, and Krasnodar Territory.

In total, the overall amount of funds allocated for agricultural insurance support in 2026 will amount to 5.5 billion rubles.
