MICEX Index rises by 0.3% on Monday, reaching 2,272 points during trading session.
Among the most liquid stocks, the following dynamics are observed:
- Sberbank +0.3%;
- Lukoil +0.2%;
- Rosneft +0.1%;
- Nornickel +0.9%.
The MICEX Index (Russian stock market index) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
