### Several Residential Buildings Damaged in Russian Rostov-on-Don Following Ukrainian Drone Attack On the morning of September 6, several residential buildings in Rostov-on-Don were damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, according to the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar. He reported that during the night, the Rostov region was subjected to a massive drone attack. Approximately 30 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were intercepted and destroyed over Rostov-on-Don, Bataisk, and several other districts, including Matveyev Kurgan, Myasnikovsky, Azovsky, Millerovsky, and Chertkovsky. The consequences of the attack were also observed in several municipalities across the region. In the Azov district, four private homes were damaged, with windows broken and facades damaged. Additionally, several cases of dry grass fires were reported. There were no reported casualties. In Bataisk, a house located within a gardening cooperative (a common form of collective land use in Russia) was damaged. In Myasnikovsky district, the roof of a house in a similar cooperative was also affected. In both cases, there were no reports of injuries. In the Soviet district of Rostov-on-Don, two multi-apartment buildings were damaged. One building suffered damage to its upper floors, while the other sustained damage to its roof and windows. Residents were evacuated, and emergency services are on-site. One child was injured and hospitalized. Later, another person was reported to have been hospitalized. A third individual received medical assistance on-site but refused hospitalization. Another multi-apartment building was damaged in the Kirov district of Rostov-on-Don, with reports of damage to an apartment and balcony windows. Residents were also evacuated. In the Leninsky district, a residential building suffered damage to an apartment and windows. There were no reports of injuries. Separately, the aftermath of the attack affected the railway system. In Chertkovsky district, debris from a downed drone damaged a passenger train locomotive. As a result, seven passenger trains were delayed for approximately three hours. Specialists are currently working on-site to address the situation.
