### Leningrad Region Repels Nighttime Drone Attack on September 1
The Leningrad region in Russia repelled a nighttime attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the night of September 1, resulting in damage to infrastructure.
Governor Alexander Drozdenko reported that fires broke out in the port area of Ust-Luga, where damage was also recorded. The exact extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Since 3:34 AM, 44 drones have been shot down in the region, and efforts to counter the attack are ongoing.
