To increase foreign investment in Far Eastern and Arctic projects, the potential of the Eastern Stock Exchange will be utilized, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
Putin suggested that the Eastern Stock Exchange could serve as the foundation for a modern financial hub. He instructed the government and the Central Bank to thoroughly work on these issues.
Additionally, the national standard for public-private partnerships (PPP), which came into effect on September 1, can assist in implementing infrastructure projects. Its primary goal is to allocate risks effectively and enhance the efficiency and returns on infrastructure investments.
Furthermore, a model for long-term financing of PPP projects has been developed to attract long-term capital, primarily through the issuance of concession bonds.
