Russia extends diesel export ban for one month

The Russian government has extended the existing temporary ban on exports of certain types of fuel by producers. The restriction will remain in place until October 31, 2026.

"A decree has been signed extending the ban on the export of diesel, marine fuel, and gasoil directly by Russian producers until October 31, 2026," the government press service announced.

This measure is intended to support the domestic fuel market amid high demand for motor fuel.

It is worth noting that the general ban on fuel exports from Russia is in place until January 31, 2027.
