### Russian Stock Index MICEX Rises by 0.2% in Wednesday Trading Session
On Wednesday, the MICEX Index (Moscow Exchange Index) rose by 0.2% and traded at 2,150 basis points. The most liquid stocks showed the following trading dynamics:
- Lukoil: -0.7%
- Gazprom: -0.7%
- Sberbank: -0.4%
- Rosneft: -0.2%
It is worth noting that the MICEX Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, and includes the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
