Drone Heading Towards Moscow Intercepted and Shot Down

On the night of March 17th, a drone heading towards Moscow was destroyed, according to a statement made by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin at 0:34 am.

The drone was detected and shot down by air defense systems on duty. There is no information about casualties or damage. According to Sobyanin, emergency services are working at the site of the debris fall.

Earlier, the city’s mayor noted that from March 14th to 16th, approximately 250 drones were intercepted and shot down as they approached Moscow and on the second line of defense towards the city.
