### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack
On the night of March 7, Russian air defense systems successfully repelled a large-scale drone attack. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on-duty air defense units intercepted and destroyed 124 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type, which were detected over various regions of the country.
Several central Russian regions were also targeted. The largest number of drones was shot down over the Bryansk region, where 29 aircraft were destroyed. Another 15 UAVs were eliminated over the Oryol region, 11 over the Belgorod region, and 9 over the Ryazan region. Eight drones were downed over the Kaluga region, and seven over the Voronezh region.
Six UAVs were intercepted over the Kursk, Rostov, and Volgograd regions, as well as over the Crimean Peninsula. Five drones were shot down over the Tula and Samara regions, and three each over the Lipetsk region and Moscow area. One UAV was heading towards the capital.
Additionally, two drones were downed over the Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions, and one over the Ivanovo region.
All detected targets were promptly intercepted and destroyed. Emergency and operational services are working at the sites where the UAV debris fell.
