Bank Tinkoff Business ("Tochka") has acquired a 100% stake in Mpstats, a data analytics and automation service for marketplace sellers, according to Vedomosti citing representatives from both parties.
The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Market participants estimate the deal could be worth around 2 billion rubles.
Following the acquisition, Mpstats will be integrated into Tinkoff Business while retaining its brand, team, and founder. Access to the service will remain available for clients of other banks.
Tinkoff Business noted that the acquisition of Mpstats will allow the bank to consolidate sellers within its ecosystem and develop joint product offerings and tools for marketplace operations.
