Businessman Umar Dzhabrilov Found Dead in Moscow Hotel

The body of 68-year-old businessman and former Chechen senator Umar Dzhabrailov, founder of the Avanti association, was found in a hotel room on Tverskaya Street in Moscow, according to Russian media outlet Mash.

According to sources, Dzhabrailov took his own life, with a pistol found next to his body.

In 2020, Dzhabrailov had previously attempted suicide but received timely medical assistance.
