In December 2025, the average credit limit on newly issued credit cards in Russia was 99,100 rubles ($1,238), a decrease of 11.3% compared to the same period in 2024 (111,700 rubles), according to data from the National Credit Bureau (NCBI) reported by TASS.
Compared to November 2025, the average credit limit increased by 2.1% (97,100 rubles).
The highest average credit limits on newly issued cards were recorded in Moscow (137,700 rubles), Moscow Region (118,800 rubles), St. Petersburg (117,900 rubles), Tyumen Region (107,700 rubles), and Leningrad Region (103,300 rubles).
