In 2025, Russian gold reserves grew by 614 tons, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources (Minpriroda).
Positive trends in reserve growth were observed for most types of raw materials. Copper reserves increased by 3 million tons, coal reserves by 938.1 million tons, iron ores by 984.2 million tons, titanium by 17.3 million tons, tungsten by 5,500 tons, and nefeline and syenit ores by 1.5 million tons and 163.9 million tons respectively.
Among the leaders in reserve growth were the Федоровско-Кедровское deposit in Khakassia, Dubach in Magadan Oblast, and Kаюрковское in Kamchatka Oblast.
In total, 317 deposits were added to the state balance following geological exploration work in the previous year, including 276 solid mineral deposits.
