Platinum hits record high of $2,900 per troy ounce

Platinum prices have hit an all-time high, surpassing $2,900 per troy ounce, according to trading data from the New York Mercantile Exchange on January 26.

During the trading session, the price of April platinum futures rose by 5.92%, reaching $2,903.5 per troy ounce.

Additionally, palladium prices also increased. The March palladium futures rose by 6.38%, reaching $2,157.1 per troy ounce.

Today also saw new historical highs for gold and silver, surpassing $5,100 and $110 per troy ounce, respectively.
