Russian air defense units and assets intercepted and destroyed 50 Ukrainian drones between 11:00 and 16:00 Moscow time on January 5, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. 44 drones were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region, 4 over the Kursk region, and 2 over the Lipetsk region.
