MICEX Index Up 0.1% at 2827 Points in Wednesday Trading Session

On Wednesday, at the market opening, the MICEX Index is up by 0.1% and trading at 2,827 basis points.

Here is the trading dynamics of the most liquid stocks:

- Lukoil +0.3%;

- Sberbank +0.1%;

- Gazprom +0.5%;

- VTB +0.2%.

It is worth noting that the MICEX Index (Moscow Exchange Index) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.

The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
