Colombian President Gustavo Petro has announced a military attack on Venezuela.

"Caracas is under attack right now. Alert the whole world: Venezuela is under attack! They are firing rockets. The Organization of American States and the UN must meet immediately," Petro wrote on his account.

Today, several Western media outlets reported a series of explosions in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas. Military helicopters have been spotted over the city. According to online reports, ground battles are taking place in Venezuela.
