Rosaция has approved the changes made to the passenger aircraft Tu-214. Key imported systems have been successfully replaced with domestic equivalents. As part of certification tests, which included 75 flights, the reliability of 17 elements of on-board radio-electronic equipment was confirmed, including the first Russian systems for air collision warning and ground proximity warning.
The approval from Rosaция allows for the start of serial production of the updated aircraft, with plans to increase the volume to 20 planes per year by 2027.
In the course of the work, a new modern complex of on-board electronics was practically created, including unique domestic safety systems that were previously produced by only one manufacturer in the world. The development will help overcome technological dependence and will serve as the basis for equipping other models of civil aircraft.
Russian airlines have also received four new Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters. These versatile machines are designed to carry up to 22 passengers, can be quickly converted into a medical version for patient evacuation, and are capable of transporting cargo weighing up to 4 tons on an external suspension.
The Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters will be used in remote areas of the Far North and the Far East. They will be used to deliver medicines, provide emergency medical assistance, and address vital social issues.
