In Stavropol, FSB officers detained a resident of Krasnodar Krai who was preparing a terrorist attack against an officer of the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to a statement by the agency. Law enforcement established that the girl had fallen under the influence of telephone scammers. Under the pretext of criminal prosecution, she was persuaded to carry out a terrorist attack. The scammers provided her with a homemade explosive device with a power of 400 grams, which she was supposed to attach to one of the cars parked near a military unit. However, she failed to carry out the planned attack. Criminal cases have been initiated against her under the articles "Attempt to commit a terrorist act" and "Illegal manufacture and storage of explosive devices."
