"Lента" Acquires Control Stake in Major Far Eastern Network "Remi""

The retail chain "Lenta" has increased its presence in the Far East by acquiring a 67% (controlling stake) in the large food retail company "Remi". This is reported by "Kommersant". "Lenta" has taken over the logistics infrastructure and 115 retail outlets located in the territories of the Sakhalin region, Primorsky and Khabarovsk краев, operating under three trade brands: "Remi", "RemiCity" and "Ekonomych".
