Moscow Exchange Index – MICEX Opens with Growth

The MICEX Index rose by 0.9% during trading on Tuesday. The MICEX Index is trading at 2,725 base points. The most liquid stocks are showing the following trading dynamics: - Sberbank +0.4%; - VTB +0.3%; - Gazprom -0.2%; - Norilsk Nickel -0.2%. The MICEX Index is a price index of the Russian stock market, calculated based on market capitalization (free-float), which includes the most liquid shares of the largest and fastest-growing Russian companies. The review was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, a member of the listing expert council of the Moscow Exchange, PhD in Economics, head of the Financial and Investment Management Department at the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
