Government to Add Funds to Regional Social Gasification Program

The Russian government will allocate additional funds to regions by the end of 2025 for the social gasification program, as reported by the press service of the cabinet. The additional funding will be received by 18 regions: Adygea, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karelia, Crimea, Mari El, Мордовия, Чувашия, Krasnodar and Khabarovsk territories, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Kurgan, Smolensk, Tambov, and Ulyanovsk regions. These funds can be used by regions to provide subsidies for льготникам (beneficiaries) to purchase equipment and connect their homes to gas networks. Eligible individuals for the subsidy include многодетные families (large families), citizens with low incomes, participants in the Special Military Operation (СВО), members of their families, World War II veterans, disabled individuals of the first group, and citizens caring for disabled children. In total, 1 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the social gasification program in 2025, with the funds distributed among 55 regions.
