Trump Orders Whitkoff to Head to Moscow, Driscoll to Fly to Meeting in Kyiv

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has instructed his special envoy Stephen Witkoff to travel to Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The American leader posted this information on his social media account.

Witkoff has been tasked with coordinating a peace settlement plan for Ukraine. U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll will hold a meeting in Kyiv with Ukrainian authorities.

Separate instructions have been given to Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and White House Chief of Staff Susan Wheals. They will report to Trump on the progress made.
