Moscow Exchange Index (MOEX) Opens with a Rise

On Tuesday, the MICEX Index is growing by 0.5% during the trading session. The Moscow Exchange Index is trading at 2669 basis points.

The most liquid stocks show the following trading dynamics:

- Sberbank +0.2%;

- VTB +0.6%;

- Gazprom -0.5%;

- Rosneft +0.4%.

It should be noted that the MICEX Index is a price index of the Russian stock market, calculated taking into account the market capitalization (free-float), which includes highly liquid stocks of the largest and fastest-growing Russian companies.

The overview was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, a member of the Expert Council of the Moscow Exchange Listing Board, Ph.D. in Economics, Head of the Department of Financial and Investment Management at the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
