Volume of Market Mortgage Lending in Russia Reaches Historical Minimum - Husnullin

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin described the situation with mortgages in the country as "alarming." According to him, the volume of market mortgage lending has reached its lowest level in the entire history of its existence. He stated this during an interview on the "Rossiya-24" TV channel. "The situation with mortgages is certainly alarming because market mortgages have been minimized. We have never had such a small volume of market mortgage lending in our history. Therefore, the government, in order not to lose the pace of construction, has strengthened measures to support mortgages with state support. We support various industries or regions with these measures," Khusnullin noted. He also mentioned that the volume of support measures provided for the mortgage market in 2025 is unprecedented.
